Every Sunday during the autumn and spring terms you are welcome to dance with us at Studenternas Hus!
Our Sundays are for everyone who wants to end the week with salsa. All levels are welcome, and we care a lot about keeping the mood friendly and open, especially if you are new.
How a Sunday works
The club starts right when the beginner course ends. If you take the course, the club is included, so you just stay. Then we turn on the music and lights.
We mostly play salsa, and our DJ throws in some bachata now and then. Social dancing means you dance with lots of different people during the evening, so you do not need to come with anyone.
We work to make everyone feel welcome and safe. You never have to dance. If you want to watch, talk or take a break there are seats. It is always fine to say no to a dance.
Many people come straight from the beginner course, so you are not the only one who is new.
We do not serve alcohol. But we always make sure there is water out, so feel free to bring a water bottle.

FAQ
Do I need to have taken your course to come to the club?
No, everyone is welcome whether you have taken the course or not. If you are completely new to salsa and mostly want to soak up the atmosphere, you are just as welcome.
Do you only play salsa, or other music too?
We mostly play salsa, but our DJ throws in some bachata now and then.
Is there a changing room?
No, sorry. Coat check is included in the entry fee, though.
I left something behind, what do I do?
What we find is kept in our lost and found box. You are welcome to pick it up next Sunday.
Can I pay by card?
Yes, you can pay the entrance fee by card or Swish. The course fee is paid by Swish or Bankgiro, not by card.
